Mango Pineapple Smoothie

This one was a winner! I always buy whatever fruit is on sale in bulk and prep it all when I get home. I store it in freezer bags or containers in the fridge and then whatever is left at the end of the week(or just before it is about to go bad) it goes right into the freezer for smoothies.

Mango Pineapple Smoothie

Course: Breakfast, Snack

Ingredients

  • 1 banana; fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup mango; fresh or frozen
  • ½ cup pineapple; fresh or frozen
  • ¼ cup coconut water
  • 2 tbsp ground flax seed
  • 1 tbsp ground tumeric
  • 1 tsp ground ginger or root
  • 3 tbsp shredded coconut

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth.

Notes

  • use either frozen or fresh fruits, if using 2 out of 3 fresh I would add a 3-4 ice cubes to get it a thicker smoothie
  • these are rough measurements, I always just eyeball it on what looks like a good amount
